Hen Party Dance Classes - Charleston, Chorus Dance, Swing or Tap

What is involved in a private party class?

A vintage dance class is an ideal activity for hen and birthday parties as it provides plenty of opportunities for everyone to join in and have a giggle.

The class can be tailored to suit the ability of the group, with simple steps suitable for beginners or more challenging choreography for more experienced groups.  The emphasis is always on having fun and enjoying dancing as a group, so any number of left feet are welcome!

Typically, a hen party workshop will be 1.5-2 hours (depending on your preference), in which time you and your friends will learn a complete routine in your chosen style - 1920s Charleston, vintage chorus dance, or even tap dance (no special shoes required).  Alternatively, you can choose swing dance, where you will learn some partnered moves you can do on the social dance floor.  All hen party dance classes are taught by an experienced dance teacher with a passion for vintage dance, and will include a warm-up and time allowed for photographing group poses.

If you choose vintage chorus dance or 1920s Charleston, sparkling props can be provided for your dance for extra silver screen glamour (maximum group size of 18 people if using props).

Classes are usually held in central Brighton, in a proper dance studio with wooden floor and mirrors, but can be taught in other venues if you prefer.

Prices and Booking Info

Private party classes are priced at £12 per person (with a minimum charge of 10 people), plus the cost of the venue hire (usually around £27 per hour).  Smaller groups are very welcome but must split the minimum fee between themselves.
