Bambi Beats brings you hot rhythms and vintage glamour! Inspired by the dancing stars of the silver screen, her dances add a touch of old-school Hollywood magic to any event. 

Bambi has been dancing since the age of three, but it was her discovery of 1930s movie musicals as an adult that really fuelled her passion for tap dance.  Watching the films of Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth and Ann Miller, she was inspired to put on her dancing shoes and create beautiful dances that capture the fun and glamour of golden era Hollywood.  Her goal is to bring playful, graceful and sexy tap dancing to a wider audience!  All of her dances are borne out of her love for jazz and swing era music and style - each dance has been created with a distinct era and inspiration in mind, using authentic upbeat music and sparkling, colourful costumes. 

With dances ranging throughout the 1920s-1940s, Bambi can provide dances to fit a variety of cabaret, swing, vintage and other events.  Whether your event has a specific vintage theme – such as 1920s speakeasy, 1940s blitz dance or golden era Hollywood – or you are just looking to add sparkle and excitement to your event, Bambi’s dancing will impress and delight.

Previous performances have entertained and inspired at a range of venues in Brighton and beyond (including Proud Brighton Ballroom, The Old Market Theatre, Brighton Komedia, The Blind Tiger Club and The Famous Spiegeltent) for events as diverse as late night cabaret and Sunday afternoon tea dances. 

Bambi is also an experienced dance teacher, and can provide mini dance lessons in 1920s Charleston to get your audience up and dancing.
